Our soles are made with new, proprietary materials that deliver surprisingly sweet comfort, all day long. Our A-grade full grain leather comes from one of the best tanneries in the world, who also happen to be our business partner; that means you get incredible quality at a price you won’t find anywhere else. The shoes are then made by masters in Portugal who have decades of experience but also aren’t afraid to get a little futuristic with it. This is a totally different type of shoe.

Best dress shoes I have owned

I bought the Amerjack Cap Toe shoes, black, 12 wide. The leather is soft and pliable which is awesome because it needs to break in period. The soles are very comfortable too. I have problems with the bottom of my feet being sore constantly due to medical issues but I still need to wear dress shoes periodically. These shoes definitely help with my sore feet. I can easily wear these shoes all day without it making my foot pain worse. For reference, I am 53 yrs old, 6'1", about 240lbs. I have already recommended Amberjack to others. I have owned numerous pairs of dress shoes and these are the best I have found. Definitely recommended for anyone. Shoes run true to size.

This company cares about your feet!

I bought my first pair of amberjack dress shoes and have been very impressed with their fit, appearance and construction. It is too early to really rate their durability or even their comfort yet, as I am still breaking them in but so far they have handled everything I have thrown at them. They feel solid when walking and absorb shock extremely well. My feet do not feel fatigued at all after 10,000 steps at work and then cycling to and from work. Areas to improve upon would probably be a longer padded tongue that is easier to grab when it shifts or gets pushed into the shoe a bit when putting them on. Laces that are maybe 2-3 inches longer on each side would be a big improvement as well. I feel lucky to have found amberjack and look forward to wearing more of their products in the future!

Dress shoes

These shoes are very comfortable. Feel good. I had to return first pair as they were a bit narrow. I usually wear a size 10. So I ordered a 10 wide and fit perfect.

Got the Toe Cap in suede. Well made. Fit well (regular width - I have an A heel and a B toe). Spent two consecutive days on my feet and walked 5+ miles each day, about 1/3 indoors. Very comfortable. No break-in needed.
