I was looking for a pair of patent leather shoes to compliment my tuxedo ensemble without heals due to my back problems. These were perfect, true to size. I am very happy with the purchase.

The Tux shoe appears to be just what I needed!

I was excited to find the Tux shoe by Amberjack, with the promise of comfort in a formal setting. I sing in various choruses, and some performances require a tuxedo and formal shoes. I have very good, name brand shoes for formal occasions, but they are not designed for traction (as in navigating risers), and long term comfort. I wore my good oxford shoes for a performance at Carnegie Hall last Thanksgiving weekend and between the climbing many many stairs (backstage Carnegie is several layers and endless stairs), assembling on stage for a full dress rehearsal, hanging around our hotel during a break after rehearsal and then more stairs, assembling and performing followed by an after party in the restaurant across the street my feet were killing me! I have not worn my new Tux shoes in performance yet, but have just worn them for about four hours to see how they feel. Despite my wide feet they are incredibly comfortable and help me feel more sure-footed than leather soles. And they will look great with my tux! I did order up a half size, as advised. I am anticipating it may improve my singing a bit since I will be much more relaxed, and not in pain during the concerts. Thank you Amberjack for the concept, and anticipating great outcomes.

Beautiful shoe, I ordered up a size for the width but a 14EEEE would have been better.

Two Pair

Okay got them plenty quick. Only had two hours to try on before leaving town again. Now I'm back and need to go a size bigger. Purchased 13 but I have wide feet so should I go to a 131/2 or 14 size. They feel good but tight. You know when walking around feet swell and they will become super tight. Tell me what you think. This is first time I've purchased anything without trying on at a store so it's pot 🍀 luck
